Hey guys, I need a help on modding my iPhone. I'm Mongolian, so I'm tryna get my Springboard.plist (or .strings) Mongolianized. We use Russian fonts, so iPhone 2.1 are supporting Russian fonts. I thought I could use it to edit app names and slide to unlock (+) things.
First thing I've tried, I got Russian.lproj and opened it on my Vista with plededit.exe it shows all the English fonts but Russian fonts are all ????????????????...
That's not the real problem. I can delete all those ???????? and start writing in Russian and save it, restart my phone.... aaaaaaand on the phone it's the same! When I changed the Language thingy to Russian it worked all fine. But the texts that I've changed are ????????????? oooon the phone. How do I succesfully edit Russian slide to unlock thingy at least? Can anybody help me please? I've spent last 4 days tryna figure this out.
