changing boot logo
Everything Ive read says that you cant change the apple boot logo that comes up when you start your phone.
After watching the IPhone Unleashed video, they have managed to change their boot logo. Any ideas how this is done?

This is where you can see the multi colored apple boot logo.
Thanks.

I understand completely that the video is to show an firmware update from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4 keeping unlocked and activated but it shows that you can infact change the boot logo. Everything I have read before says its not possible, but there it has been done. Just wanted to know if anyone knew of how to do it.
Thanks.

this is a custom firmware. soon enough this will be released.. you can change the boot logo but it will break the sig On the firmware .. so until they release how they are doing this i dont think you can change it at the moment.

You can already change the boot logo, but you only see the modified version for a second when your device calls upon the image for when it minimizes it as it loads up the dash. Before then the image is actually part of the programming and not an image file.

I am one of them. I would be satisfied with exactly the logo shown in the video, namely the old multi-colored apple logo from OS9.
