How to enable Numeric Battery Indicator - 3G

Does anyone know which parameter(s) to change to enable the numeric battery indicator on a 3G ?

get BossPrefs in Cydia, and it have toggle Enable / disable numeric battery in MORE option screen

I try to avoid using his apps for stability and performance reasons.

If you mean by changeing plist files then got to this thread Part of Extended Preferences for iPhone Firmware 2.1.

Yes, this is very helpful.

I'm using it as is, but, plan to filter through and find the specific plist settings and try to do a Winterboard folder.

If someone already knows how to do this please help.

Edit this key to true:

<key>SBShowBatteryLevel</key>

Edit: You'll need to run this command to enable editing of it from a PC:

plutil -c xml1 /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.apple.springboard.plist

That is the specific value I needed.

Allows me to cleanly change that one parameter without any overhead...appreciate the info.
