is it possible to modify stock camera to tap?

hey guys,
as you might have seen already, there is a camera alternative called Snapture.
i tried it out but didnt really want to pay for it. even if it was for free, i still liked the stock iphone camera.

but what i really liked was its ability to take pictures by touching ANY part of the screen.

now is it possible to mod a file in MobileSlideShow.app to do this?
i was maybe thinking like making the camera button really big (320x408)
similar to the method used with the "tap to unlock" sliders.

i tried looking at the files in the MobileSlideShow.app but can't seem to find which .png it is (if it even exists)

can someone help me figure this out?

A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that the camera takes a picture with a tap.

It actually takes the picture on release. Hold your finger on the button, frame your picture, release your finger and Snap!

Once you know this it works so much better.

OR, if you want to multi shot yourself without looking into your iPhone, just to this way

1. hold the shutter icon with your middle finger (keep holding)
2. tap the screen with another finger to take a pic (middle finger keep holding the shutter button)

voila
