This is my first post here. I'm glad i found such a knowledgable community iphone mods
This issue has me stumped. searched the forums, can't find a certain answer:
My mac used to connect to my iphone netatalk share.
As of yesterday, I now get an error code -36 (some files in afp://xxx.xxx could not be read or written)
I had been using Netatalk with my mac for a few days, with great success.
This happened after my iphone locked up when I was connected to netatalk with the finder.
I have done the following :
- rebooted iphone and mac
- re-installed netatalk
- connected to iphone via ssh to confirm "mobile" password
- disabled/re-enabled AFP on my network adapter
- per some google articles i found, i verified and repaired disk permissions
I have the some concerning items in my disk utility verification, were not there 2 days ago:
Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app/Contents/Resources/OwnerGroupTool" has been modified and will not be repaired.
Warning: SUID file "usr/bin/lppasswd" has been modified and will not be repaired.
still no progress, I cannot connect to netatalk no matter what I do now.
Any ideas? Is this likely an iphone/netatalk issue? or a Mac / finder / AFP issue?
I also have the bossprefs switch for netatalk installed.
