Hi guys,

since i upgraded to firmware 2.1 for my iphone 2g i am having this problem:

when i receive an sms, it shows the country code (lebanon +961 ) and the number, instead of actually showing the contact's name
i.e lebanon's international format is +961 3 123456 when the number 03 123456 is sent by carrier...
in older firmwares sms fix patches where available, but i can't find one for 2.1.

also, is there a way to add a country in the international region formats list?

Run Installer then download the Community Sources. There's a 55 fix caller ID patch which was for 2.0.2. Install that. Its working for me and I'm on 2.1

About the region format, is there a way to add a country to the list with specific settings ex: date dd/MM/yy, AM/PM time, and number formatting?

I think there is a way, but I'm not 100% sure. Usually those files needs to be edited to fix the region issues. Its best if I dont suggest anything as I might tell you to edit the wrong file
