Icon labels

Any one know how to remove the icon names from Third Party apps like Cydia under 2.0? I wish to know the file and/or location so please do not suggest Winterboard.

I think those labels can be changed in /System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/YourLanguage.lproj/LocalizedApplicationNames.strings

... although this doesn't seem to work for AppStore apps AND for some reason it never worked for the iPod application for me, but other than that this worked for me ... at least under 2.0, guess it still works under 2.0.1

PS: if you ever get it to work for the ipod app or appStore apps, please let me know. I've been trying to change the name of the ipod app for like ... half a year now, but never have been successful

Yes, this works for Stock apps (including AppStore) but what I was asking was for Third Party Apps, which this method does not work for. Thanks

Not sure what you're referring to. Your Cydia icon says "Not Cydia", I want the label to be blank. I'm talking about removing the labels, not changing them.

... which works as well. If you just give your app an empty string as a name (so you write <string></string> or <string> </string> into the LocalizedApplicationNames) the label will be gone. I could make another screenshot to prove but I hope you just believe me

edit: alright, because I really got nothing to do ... there you go:
all I did was add
<key>com.saurik.Cydia</key>
<string></string>
to the LocalizedApplicationNames.strings
