( Question ) Reflective Dock 1.1.3
Has anyone figured out a way to get this on 1.1.3 FW. This old school dock is killing me. I know somebody else is feeling my pain.

That is the main reason why I won't upgrade. I just wish someone could figure out what to add, and where to add it to put it back on the phone. Hmmm...

I would like it back to. The only halfway solution I found is in just using a transparent dock.

the modded customize in the installer repo, has a reflective dock it installs after you have installed it. have you tried that?
its a mod for customize in 1.1.3
and if you dont like the one it installs (reflective itouch dock) , simply ssh into your phone and open the modded customize application (dont go into any sub folders, it should be right there in application<customize.)
and replace the dock.png with the one of your choice, but its only manually changable at this pointLast edited by kryptedak; 02-25-2008 at 05:57 PM.

why dont you install the new summerboard that works with 1.1.3 and use the touch theme that comes with it. you can always turn off theme icons and theme wallpaper and just keep the reflective dock....although you will be limited to what the reflections are.

You need extended preferences and summerboard.
First install extended preferences (formally advanced preferences).
Oh, and the repository that has extended preferences is.
http://m8an.de/ownrisk.xml
It is called Blackwolf or something to that nature.
Install Summerboard if you have not already.
If you are running 1.1.3 or higher Apple has removed the alternative reflective dock image from the resources, so you just have to choose the dock skin of your choice and use summerboard to change it to the dock you want.
Under your Settings.app there should be a way to use the reflective dock somewhere in there. Turn the reflective dock on.
Now, finally install Caterpillar (it should be in the modmyi repo, if not google it!)
Open Caterpillar.app, check "FaceLift", click apply, and restart.

You don't need extended preferences, if your gone use caterpillar which is a commercial app btw, than you get the option for reflective dock anyway plus even 5 icon dock. And just to say I have bought caterpillar and I am using summerboard and customize along with it with no problems.

That is just the stock ipod touch dock, it won't give you reflective dock.
array>
<string>Notice</string>
<string>Yay! Now you have an iPod Touch style dock. Reboot for the changes to take place.</string>
</array>
<array>
<string>Notice</string>
<string>If you are running firmware greater than 1.1.2, you can not properly arrange icons in the dock, as the reflection stays the same.</string>
</array>
Quote taken from installer.
Here you can grab the dock and see for yourself:

And there you won't go :-)Don't be shy if I helped you use the Thanks button, I do it.
