iPhone app question

I have a jailbroken original iPhone with AT&T service. The reason I jailbroke was to get installer only to allow a different background than plain black on my homepage.
If I upgrage to 2.0 is there anyway I can change the background from black to a picture of my choice. It is the only thing keeping me from upgrading to 2.0
