An artwork file is like a "zipped" file. It contains many separate image files and you must first unpack the file then modify its pieces. Its easier on a Mac, but there is a program for unpacking artworks files under Windows, cant think of the name, but if you google it you'll find it. After that, you just modify the images with whatever program you prefer (example: Photoshop).
