phonedmg folder

I just had a question about the phonedmg folder. I was wondering if you need to have anything new in the folder since Apple came out with a firmware update? I had PMed poetic_folly and he said "no" you don't have to add any new file, but it just doesn't make since why you wouldn't add the new firmware & restore files. Can someone please elaborate why there is no need to do this?

poetic told me to make a thread about this because there are probably several out there with this same question.

As far as I have seen, you do not need the new restore files at all. I have been modding with 1.0.1 and my original phonedmg folder since the update came out, and have had 0 issues...

Okay...Thanks poetic. I won't change a thing and start modding. Look for some new skins in a couple of days.
