Auto Reflective Dock on iPhone?
Any body wanna be the guinea pig? I just saw this on another forum and he claims it causes an automated reflective dock on the iPhone, similar to the iPod Touch...
He Stated:
Yup, I got reflections on my iPhone dock.
I added
<key>SBUseNewDock</key>
<integer>1</integer>
to my /var/root/Library/Preferences/com.apple.springboard.plist using TextEdit.
Anyone wanna open that plist file, add the code, then overwrite it and let us know?
BTW: I would have tried but I can not find a plist editor for windows for the life of me. Do I convert the file then open it, or is there a stock program like for windows?

You need to convert the plist file. Use this http://140.124.181.188/%7Ekhchung/cgi-bin/plutil.cgi the u can edit it. I modified it and worked!!!

I edited the file and it did nothing. Do you mean the conversion worked, or the reflective dock worked?

I mean the reflection worked! I'm on 1.1.2 by the way. I attached the edited file if it helps. A couple of screenshots:

As you can see, the NES icon and the iTunes icon reflects on the dock.

wow, it works... i'm on v1.1.1, using the attached plist file from jandrad. by the way jandrad, you only added these 2 fields
<key>SBUseNewDock</key>
<integer>1</integer>
into springboard.plist right?

Ok. Im running windows. I copy the file via winscp to my pc and then I convert it using the online conversion. I got the converted file to text. I open it in notepad I put the key and interger as said before and then I save it. So, how I convert it again to put the changed file again in the iphone ? That is not clear.
Anyone ?
Thanks.
