How do you run commands from a mac on the iphone? Any type of terminal interface should work..

please help! i can't seem to get past the step in which you type cd /bin in terminal. whenever i type chmod or cd /bin, the error message says, "connection to [IP address] closed."

what could be the problem? i already followed the step-by-step instruction. i used Fugu to transfer the screenshot file into my iPhone's bin folder. i am using Mac OS X Tiger by the way.

I'll install this tonight. Just one question, if this runs in the command line, how to you trigger it to take a snap of the screen you want?

I'm getting that same error, im thinking maybe this happens with the 1.1.1 update. I'm pretty sure that screenshot utility was written for 1.0.2. I may be wrong though, just thinking out loud.

If anyone has gotten the screenshot utility to work can you post how you got it to work? Thanks ahead of time!

what app do i have to install to take snapshots?

I suggest using Dock from NateTrue - it includes snapshot and is a good backup in case you mess up your SpringBoard.

Do u know what source do i download it from. I don't see such and app "Dock" in my installer.
