hiya all.
I have like 1600 SMS which I want to back up in text format to my gmail account. I used SMSD from installer earlier to do the same but somehow it doesnt work on my updated phone running 1.1.4.
Is there a specific file that stores the SMS of inbox which I can mail myself using file send???!

Is there anyother way to backup my messages to my gmail account???

yup

ssh to your mobile /private/var/root/Library/SMS

grab the sms.db from there.

iSMS go to this site and make a username

upload the sms.db

all set back up online

I can't ssh. No comp right now. Filesend doesnt help. Any other app that will allow me to atleast send myself the SMS.db file from the phone itself????

hi thanks but syphone is for mac users. I dont have pc access right now. Is there any app like smsd which I can install over my iphonemfrom installer over wifi and use it to mail myself the SMS.db file???

help please I have reached 1870 messages count. I dunno how long will my iphone Handel em. Please tell me a way to send the SMS.db file to my gmail from the phone itself over wifi. Can't use Internet n filesend doesnt wrk.
