Default [SSH] Getting error when trying to chown cmd?? Anyone know why?

Im following this tutorial iPhoneFreakz iSlsk P2P music sharing on your iPhone or iPod Touch (updated2) » iPhoneFreakz because Im trying to fix the iSlsk problem I am having, and on steps
5 & 6 when Im supposed to type the commands
    chown mobile:mobile /Applications/iSlsk.app/
    chown mobile:mobile /Applications/iSlsk.app/*
    I get this error
You must supply a numeric argument to the chown command

    what does that mean?
