SMS Glass Sounds

I have my SMS message set to the glass sound but I want to take the file and up the gain and transfer it back so its louder. Can anyone direct me to the thread about this i remember reading about the SMS files being a weird format and how to convert them but i cant find it.

Sounds are in .caf format. They are basically .aiff.
