[HOW-TO] Set Permission to 755, Fix Apps that crash after installation
***This method DOES NOT work with firmwares 1.1.3+***
For 1.1.3/4 follow the guide right HERE!
Go to Installer.app then hit the Productivity folder
[
Install the file manager "Squid"

Go to your SpringBoard and open Squid

Go to the Applications folder

Choose the applications that is needed to be fixed, in my case it was CallD

Open the file that is named after the application (it is the name of the aplications most of the time)

Then, Lastly, make sure that your green boxes are checked the same way mine are checked and then click Apply

How can I get the permissions to stay when I transfer from winscp to my computer(xp)? I am trying to create a program for an installer source but once I zip the file, the 0755 permission is gone.

Its all the same for all the apps, 0755 is the same order... u need to make sure that its checked correctly.
And im sorry if i cant answer ur question cuz i dont really know much... as u see, i try to use the simplest method possible
