Works great but as mentioned in the comments on the wiki you must make sure the NOEXEC flag is removed from fstab.
/etc/fstab
Other than that works like a charm.

How much room for apps do you get by default? - also I presume that when an app puts files in the var/media section (ie; where the phone usually stores things like photos...) this doesn't eat into the apps space?
Thanks in advance.

ssh connection refused
I just bought an iphone v1.1.2 two days ago. i have been surfing this forum before purchase and love it. since purchase i have been trying to learn and search. i have been able to jailbreak my phone and activate it with att. i have installed some programs but now the apps dont show up after download. so i found my way to here. i am using a imac and terminal to access ssh but when i try it says connection refused. i am typing in "ssh -l root 192.168.1.102" i got the address from my phone. i have searched and cannot find a solution to this. i am hoping someone here can help please.

Did it
But when i brought up the list it did not look exactly like "lrwxr-xr-x 1 root admin 25 Oct 12 22:31 Applications -> /private/var/Applications" i did not have the "Applications" at the end of any line. so i assume that i have to do the other steps that were listed. But i don't understand this "You'll have to remove the NOEXEC flag from /etc/fstab to be able to launch applications after this manipulation." how is this accomplished?
ps. thank you Imahottguy
got the line correct but still dont understand the noexec. and how do you see available space in the installer app?Last edited by Nightkeeper62; 12-04-2007 at 08:29 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

Also, Services wouldn't be too bad either, as it controls whether SSH is on or not.
