Rating stars background image: blank
Hi all,
I've had this little problem for a while now (on all JB firmwares) where the background of the "rating stars" in the mobilemusicplayer.app is blank and allows the springboard background image to show through (see screenshot, my springboard theme is "blueprint").
I don't know if this is an issue for all phones (could because the default springboard is black), just jailbroken phones/pods, or just mine.
I looked in the musicplayer.app but didn't find any pngs that looked like they belonged behind the stars. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Found out how to fix this ages ago. Place the linked PNG in the MobileMusicPlayer.app folder

unfortunately for you and all of us you can see through to the background. So far i havnt heard of any fixes. My idea is maybe to resize the rating star .png's and that might cover it up?
[EDIT] nm Thanx nudge didnt see your post!Last edited by Dan0609; 05-14-2008 at 12:53 PM. Reason: saw post above

It's normal. I think.
I'm sure it was exactly the same when i first got the iPhone.

Replace the png in the mobilemusicplayer.app located in the /Applications/MobileMusicPlayer.app with the one I uploaded and it will be fixed. I did this on all my firmware's. Enjoy
And all thanks clicks appreciated.Last edited by iBlade; 05-14-2008 at 01:06 PM.

nudge2232 and iBlade:
Perfect! Thank you! Worked like a charm.
Question: is apple's png just corrupt or is it transparent? My picture viewer can open the stock one...

It is transparent, and you need an app to make the stock png images from the phone viewable. It is called iPhoneFixpng.exe. Here is a link with info.
