just bumping this thread to check if this works with 4.2.1 iphone 4 ???

I miss this call log from my blackberry so very much...

has anyone tried the iclarified Call History Patch on iOS 4.2.1 ??

  4. #44
I want to do this as well. I found an app in Cydia hosted by BigBoss that does this called CallLogPro. It also looks like you can limit the calls, but not sure based on the wording:

"See how many you want in recent"

    Here's the site:

    IARRAYS - CallLogPro - Features

Has anyone used this app? Can't find any reviews on it.

Can't read? Ok. Well, I do know that saying thread closed without locking it doesn't close a thread. Lol. And you can't lock a thread without being a mod. Haha

Please note it will erase all your current history.
Reboot your iPhone to start the trigger.

Please note that it may slow down the "last calls" screen, depending on how big your list will be.

So far mine works fine, with 3000 records.

Hi, I have been looking at this post (#16 by piranha)

and made some changes for iOS6 to his trigger statement. I ran his modified SQL script using the Apple App Store app SQLed by Andreas Zimnas and imported my current zipped call_history.db file first so I could keep my current call history, then ran the below script which added this deletekeep200 trigger, then exported it as a .SQLite file and renamed it .db

    CREATE TRIGGER [deleteKeep200]
    BEFORE DELETE ON [call]
FOR EACH ROW WHEN (select count(*) from call)<200
    BEGIN

    insert into call
select null,address,date,duration,flags,id,name,country_c ode,network_code,read,assisted,face_time_data,orig inalAddress from call
    where call.ROWID=OLD.ROWID ;

    END

note... Make sure "originalAddress" in the above script has no space after the "g" (It does when viewed on my web browser!??)
    also
To get SQLed to work with Dropbox you might want to select Dropbox full access in settings.
This is only set to a call history of 200 and I have saved a file in Dropbox for others to test. But you can change this value in the script if you want.

Using iFile backup your call_history.db file at /var/wireless/Library/CallHistory and replace it with the one from

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/e6a40hqkb3...empty_iOS6.zip

Then check the files ownership and group are both set to _wireless and reboot.

    UPDATE
With "deletekeep" you wont be able to delete Recents calls as they are rewritten back into your call history.

    Hi,
    I have just tried this.
How would I increase the capacity to about 500 or 1000 (ideally) please?
Which value of "200" would I need to change?

    Thank you
    Much obliged.

Hi, for a call count of 500, the SQL script would be

    CREATE TRIGGER [deleteKeep500]
    BEFORE DELETE ON [call]
FOR EACH ROW WHEN (select count(*) from call)<500
    BEGIN

    insert into call
select null,address,date,duration,flags,id,name,country_c ode,network_code,read,assisted,face_time_data,orig inalAddress from call
    where call.ROWID=OLD.ROWID ;

    END

If you want to edit the dropbox file "200call_history_empty_iOS6.zip" with iFile, unzip it and use iFile's hex editor, the 200 count is at 1EA hex or 490 decimal. You could change it to 500 or 999 maximum to keep it within 3digits.
