Disable Autocorrection in 2.0 Beta 5A240D
Hello,
Has anyone successfully modified the keyboard.plist on 2.0 to disable auto correction?
I made this entry:
<dict>
<key>cell</key>
<string>PSSwitchCell</string>
<key>default</key>
<integer>1</integer>
<key>defaults</key>
<string>com.apple.Preferences</string>
<key>key</key>
<string>KeyboardAutocorrection</string>
<key>label</key>
<string>Enable Autocorrection</string>
<key>set</key>
<string>setKeyboardPreferenceValue:forSpecifier: </string>
</dict>
I am able to toggle on/off the setting but it makes no difference when I test it on MobileMail or MobileSMS.
Any clues?
Thank you.

here is how to disable autocorrection on 2.0 works like a charm
1. SSH to iPhone
2. Goto /System/Library/TextInput
3. Backup TextInput_en.bundle to your pc
4. Rename TextInput_en.bundle to whatever you like
Good Luck Please Press Thanks Button
