Will I be able to use An application like ibricker, Ifuntastic ect? Has anyone else ran into running out of space for ring tones with this Patch?

Thanks Revan, works great and I appreciate all your guides for hacking the iphone. Was having trouble with the other method of making ringtones and .plist. Now this is awesome, itunes can't delete my ringtones again.
Edit your ringtone to mp3 or wav file. Add it to your iTunes library then use iTunes to convert your file (right click on file in iTunes and select convert to ACC file), it will convert to a .m4a file then rename the extension to .m4r.Last edited by vincent6396; 10-31-2007 at 11:56 PM. Worked like a charm. Uploaded the prepatched mecca using iphonebrowser, restarted the phone, renamed my *.m4a ringtones to * .m4r, and uploaded them with iphonebrowser. Thanks!!!

This works great. Just an FYI. I had to reboot my phone after I added the ringtones to each caller. Thank you very much for these instructions.

If u like to go back to the 7.4.1 itunes try http://mac.oldapps.com/itunes.php to down load it so you dont have to mold ur iphone. and keep play list. and the use make iphone ring http://www.rogueamoeba.com/utm/posts...07-09-11-09-00 for firmeware 1.0.2 for firmeware 1.1.1 at least itunes will allow you to be able to sync with out losing it from itunes ringtone list.

Works like a charm, thank you very much!
I use Itunes and crop the songs I want into 30 second ringtones, just convert to .acc, then shoot them over to your Iphone and rename them, takes no time at all.Last edited by Xarra1972; 11-06-2007 at 06:01 PM.

Strangely enough, this did not work for me. I tried every way of renaming the m4a but the ringtones don't even show up in my sounds. I just want some custom ringtones...
