guys, anybody know of a contacts application like the one on the touch? I read somewhere that you just have to edit a .plist file to make the contacts.app appear

easiest way would be to install customize and make it visible via rsbt, but yes you can also edit the display order .plists to make it visible

its already installed on firmware 1.1.1, you just need to make the shortcut to contacts.app visible

thanks for that info, but, for the life of me.... i've installed/uninstalled rsbt and customize maybe 10 times but i havn't found a way to make the contacts app appear. would you be kind enough to teach/post what are the things i should edit in what .plist file to make it (contacts)appear

i'm also looking to learn how to get the contacts app to appear on the springboard..this would also be much appreciated..i'm on 1.0.2...thx

I honestly don't see what the big deal is with having the Contacts app on the homepage. So it saves you one button press. Oooh...

Anyway, in 1.1.1, you just need to install customize. Then go to rSBT and Contacts is at the bottom in the hidden section. Just move it up so it's visible and there you go.

i just like the contact icon and the fast access..ok well on 1.0.2 there is no contacts in the hidden section..can someone explain how to get contacts to appear in the rsbt list on 1.0.2? thx

my feelings exactly..i'm not upgrading till its fully worth it..so till then can anyone get this working on 1.0.2?
