I've added several apps into my Application folder. The icons show up on the screen but when you try to open any of them it just goes to a black screen. Do I have to install something else to make these work?

Nope all you have to do is click on Properties in the folder under applications on the phone called Embark (I use Winscp which to explore my phone and make those changes), change it to 0755 then click on the icon your your phone and wala it goes to the page on the net

make sure you fix the permissions to allow them to execute (can be changed over ssh)

How do you put these applications onto the iPhone? I have downloaded them and they show as .rar files and they aren't in a folder. I've tried dragging and dropping these files to the applications folder of my iPhone via winscp but that doesn't work. I'm sure its simple but can someone please quickly explain how to get these "appers" onto my phone. Thanks!
