How to make your iphone 3G!

With the help of my brain, Photoshop, and the newest versions of apptapp and customize I made my iphone 3G!

How to:
-turn on your iphone
-open installer.app
-upgrade to version 3.0b4
-restart
-upgrade customize to latest and greatest
-restart
-open customize notice its all new including the ability to change the edge icon
-on your pc or mac open photoshop and create a new file thats 20x20 pixles with a transparent backround
-zoom to 1000%
-change the main color to any color except white or black (I like red :p)
-with the text tool type "3G" (without quotes)
-try to center the best you can
-save 2 copies one as 3G.png and one as 3G-1.png
-save to desktop or equily acessible folders
-connect your iphone to a router or to your pc or mac via ad-hoc
-find your iphones ip (ex: xxx.xxx.1.102)
-with a sftp program connect to your iphone with user:root and pass:dottie
-navigate to var/root/Library/Customize
-go to folder edgeimages
-create folder 3G
-in folder 3G place the 2 images
-back on your iphone open customize and tap edge icons and tap 3G set
-say OK
-Press the home button let it restart
-disconect from wifi
-open safari and watch how blazing fast your iphone is!! :o

This took me about ten mins to do.

P.S I dont know if its me or not but my iphone does actually seem faster

Themes are good if they are original.

The useless ones are the people who just change a background and call it 'new'.

I wasn't debating the quality of themes, only their actual usefulness.

Don't get me wrong - I love themes (especially metal_blue), but they're strictly an adornment for the iPhone, as far as I'm concerned.
