I was interested in seeing if you could somehow tweak a file so that when you place/receive a call, it would come through an accessory, like an ipod boombox, or fm transmitter, that way it would make for a much better speaker phone.

That has to deal with the accessory, the iphone recognizes some accessories as just accessories, as the headphones that came with the iphone are actually headsets with a microphone it shows that it has the ability to do such. If you plug something similar into the audio jack it should have the same affect. But only if there is a microphone attached to it. It goes by the type of audio input. 3 black or white lines= microphone ability, 2 black or white lines= audio only. Correct me if im wrong but i believe that this is correct.
