HELP. Cydia crashes after "Open Backup" Restore
HELP! pretty much with what the title says. I downloaded the Open Backup app off of Cydia and did the restore and reboot as the app instructed and now my cydia app will launch and then crash. It is not a full launch though. It will open a window, show the grey pinstriped screen then crash to my homescreen. It is rather annoying. Any and all your help is appreciated =) I really just want to get rid of it.

Restore and start fresh is about the only option. That's the problem with those type of apps it screws more up than fixes. It's way easier to just start fresh and test tweaks that your not sure are compatible.

Sorry. It happens more when going from 4.x to 5.x than 5.0 to 5.0.1 but either way you have a chance of it happening. You could also try checking permissions to see if that's the issue.
The guy that made open backup is on this forum Maybe he'll have an idea what happened.

Oooooh okay for sure. I'm probably going to just go ahead and restore. How would I check the permissions just out of curiosity?
