Default Jailbreak gone after Cydia update

4 updates appeared in Cydia on my iPhone today. I performed a complete update and now my jailbreak is gone. I have previously used Snowbreeze and then applied Corona when it came out. Everything is working fine before the update today. What happened? The Cydia icon still shows one update available but I can no longer open it as well as the other applications that I have downloaded via **********.

Try rebooting, or booting tethered using redsn0w and see what happens. Let us know if either of those help.

Yes that will definitely work. But the point it, the phone is already using the untethered Jailbreak why is it that an update in Cydia was released to remove it?

There might have been an accidental issue with the update. You can also reinstall Mobile Substrate and see if that helps.
