Need Help CYDIA CRASHED WITH THE 3 NEW UPDATES IN THE LAST WEEK

My ipod was fine until i updated today ( Dec 29 2011 ) ... it updated the Cydia Installer and two other mods as well related to the system. I chose complete upgrade and it started doing the boot screen login as usual and (its happened b4 randomly) my Ipod crashes and i realize that the boot screen isnt going away.
I can use my ipod on my computer and check the contents in IFunbox yet when i try to sync or do anything it doesn't work. After searching for quite a while today I came across someone talking about greenpoison and it did run with the boot screen and greenpoisons logo's yet it still just remained with the boot screen after it was completed. I tried restoring the ipod with itunes after and it just went back to recovery mode.

It's feels like because Cydia crashed while installing those updates it crippled it in some way. IF ANYONE KNOWS how to remove/ repair Cydia itself from a program like IFunbox it would be greatly appreciated! I've tried almost everything and I need it to work, I use it for school :/

What exactly happened when you tried restoring it with iTunes?
