Default Cydia constantly crashing on fresh jailbreak

My iPod Touch 4G has been on 4.3 until last night when I finally upgraded to 5.0.1 and jailbroke with redsnow b9. Now, Cydia seems to crash more often than it did back when I was on a 1st gen touch on 2.0 fw (And that's truly saying something). It's a guaranteed crash anytime I add more than one thing to the queue or when I back up to the search menu after installing a package. It also have random crashes all the time. Like I said, this is a fresh, new jailbreak, it's been doing this since I first launched Cydia, and I've made 100% there are no background processes that could interfere or eat up the RAM. Is anyone else having issues? Is there any advice you can give me? Thanks in advance...

Mine won't connect to the repo's, or at least the ones that hold MyWi... Jailbroke twice, and the issue stayed. Also, cydia updates seem to fail as well...

Give it a day, and try again... I experienced your issues earlier, after waiting a day, it is now able to connect.... could be related to too many of us trying to jailbreak at the same time, :-).

Cydia 1.1.3 (the one installed with the latest redsn0w for iOS 5.0.1 untethered devices) shouldn't crash on iOS 5 when queueing. It does seem to have some issues with non-English keyboard layouts though.

But yeah, repository issues are just due to heavy traffic. They should be mostly better by now.
