I "inherited" an old 2g from my son's roomate and it has cydia on it and it works on tmobile no problem. My question has probably been answered but I can't get the youtube to play. He said to post here the following: it was broken with pawnage a few years back.

To get youtube to work do i need to upgrade from 2.2.1?
Also cydia doesn't work well anymore. It just spins and just says "reloading data"
