cydia data base error

hi in new at this and i really dont know what to do. when i go on cydia i get a message saying some index files to download they have been ignored or old ones used instead. and i get another message saying you may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems. i really don't know what to do. and when i try to install apps on installs 4 i get invalid IPA. can someone pleas help me

Ok for the first error, it isnt really inhibiting, merely an annoyance. It can be fixed by deleting the offending repository. On the ********** hand, make sure you have both ********** and appsync 4.0+ installed from hackulo.
