IOS 5 iPhone 4 Cydia reboot causes lock at apple logo
Ok here's my problem. I have iPhone4 updated to IOS 5. Jailbroken with no problem. I go to Cydia and try to install anything that requires a reboot and the damn phone locks at the apple logo.

To elaborate
I have tried to do a restore from aptbackup........ locked at apple during reboot
I tried just installing Cydia purchases................. locked at apple during reboot
I've also tried installing just sbsettings ...............locked at apple during reboot
I have restored this thing 5-6 times today and re-jailbroken it. Every thing installed through Cydia requiring a reboot causes the phone to lock at the apple logo on reboot.
Help please

Did you open up your jailbroke program and boot tethered? Only jailbreak they got now is tethered so ya need to boot ya phone with ya computer for now if a restart occurs. Until untethered comes out

Yeah, this is probably what happened. See Frequently Asked Questions - JailbreakQA for more details about tethered jailbreaks.
