Help with Downloading Cydia Software

hello, i am finding some themes/tweaks/add ons i am downloading, not showing up when i install them from winterboard, like they wont show up nothing will change... some will work and some i download just wont show up at all and it is very frustrating, please help

Be a lot more specific about what phone you have, what firmware you're on and exactly which themes/tweaks work and don't work.

i have an ipod touch 2g on firmware version 4.2.1

and themes like for status bars or keyboards never work for me, and they even say they work on IOS4 which is my dilemma, because i have IOS4 so it should work but it doesnt, maybe it is a bug im not sure..

If the theme is HD it won't work and you cannot theme the keyboard unless you have either iAcces or color keyboard.

ohhhhh i see so will it tell me if it specifically HD? or will i have to find that out myself, and thank you i shall get those now

I would suggest color keyboard as it is cheaper and usually it would tell you.

Download color keyboard today and the license server won't verify my purchase. Is this why even though I select themes they won't apply? Anyone else having issues?

That is probably why. Sorry i purchased iAcces so i know more about it than color keyboard.... glad to see the orange again
