cant buy apps, themes gone
Hey there, new user here..
I jail-broke my iphone 4 running 4.3.2 a couple days ago with the latest redsnow...every was running fine and i was able to buy apps through the amazon portal, i verified myself through Facebook etc..today however, i cant do either of those things..and when i click on the themes icon on the cydia app i get a blank screen withe the cydia, sections, change, manage and search icons at the bottom and home and reload at the top. Reload, just spins the wheel but the screen never loads...in fact every icon on the cydia app home page (except the link directly to the app featured) does this including the FAQ, manage account etc...
the two apps i am running appear to work fine they are infidock and intelliscreen.
BTY my friend jailbroke her phone today and as the same issue
any help is greatly appreciated
thanks in advance
Marc

Having same problem, maybe server maintenance downtime. Patience I guess.

What ever the reason, kind of sucks when your trying to download a app you already bought. I get things happen though. Is there any way to backup apps when purchased to use when Cydia goes down?
If I can't mod it...I don't want it.

Have you noticed the huge red box that shows up when launching Cydia that saurik has put up that explains the problem? This is the same server issue that has killed Nintendo's online gaming (and many other services). This is a very widespread problem, and Cydia is just a small portion. saurik was promised "priority" service - but apparently other users are higher up the priority list.

Amazon's EC2 Server which host the main Cydia dependencies is currently down, and has been for a while. Check here for the latest.

saw the post on the cydia app and appreciate the update...just in a holding pattern now until the servers are back up....
for those of you what have been with cydia a while are outages common?

Still issues. I'm trying to reinstall my paid apps (after having to wipe and restore my iPhone 4 a couple of weeks back). Cydia stuff appears to be back up, and I am now able to see my purchased stuff... BUT -
Trying to install those apps, I get this from the Cydia installer:
HTTP/1.0 403 The package is either paid or requires a paid package to function. If you paid: contact [email protected] for help. If not, purchase the original package.
Hello... I got to the app to re-install VIA my "purchased" page.... ugh.
