    Angry To: Jay Freeman

Please fix the Cydia 1.1.1 Restart Springboard problem ASAP cos everybody is facing either the Safe Mode or Spinning Wheel of Death whenever we upgrade or install or uninstall apps in cydia 1.1.1

I even had to restore my iPhone once when I try to upgrade DisplayOut which I had bought in cydia

Now I don't even dare to enter cydia anymore cos I really don't want to brick my iPhone again

    Known work-around:

    1. After an install, IF Cydia displays: Respring or Reboot, ignore it! Press Home button (exit Cydia to SpringBoard)
    2. Manually power cycle phone. (Press Power Button, slide to power off, then power on)
    3. Done

Note: I can duplicate this Cydia hang on a 3G w/iOS 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 only! Can not reliably duplicate on a 3GS or any iOS 4.x version,

Actually that what I'm always using but don't know why that day my whole iPhone just crash at the bootlogo with the spinning wheel of death. No choics had to do a restore and re-do everything again

I also have that problem!! Whenever I hit the respring button in sb settings twice, it always sends me to safe mode, like the first time I hit respring, it shows the respring screen and still sb settings so I hit the respring again and then sb settings fades away and sends me to safe mode

    No problem here.

With the exception that after his Amazons server problem and Cydia was brought back online I cannot make a Cydia purchase with PayPal.
