A disconcerting issue with uninstalling an app, leaving behind unnecessary prereqs
So I downloaded dTunes a few minutes ago, played around with it, and decided it wasn't for me. When I downloaded and installed the original app, I noticed that Cydia actually downloaded three separate items, dTunes, Safari Download Plug-In, and a third program that I could not remember.
When I decided to uninstall dTunes, I checked in my packages list, and found that Safari Download Plug-In was left behind. This annoys me, because it means installing and uninstalling programs is causing my phone to pile up with extra tweaks and plugins that I no longer need. Beyond writing down the list of items downloaded with each program installed, is there a way to figure out what "prereqs" have been downloaded with various programs, so I can do a full uninstall when I decide I no longer want to use the application? I'm fairly concerned with the notion that all the prereq plugins and extensions for apps I've long since uninstalled are still running and taking up memory on my phone.
