    Default Inoperative Apps

If you have a paid app and it causes system crashes, and you get no reply from the developer or customer support, do you have any recourse or do you just eat it? Specifically Tlert. I have been to the Forum page concerning this and many users have the same problem and can not get a reply from intelliborn support. There nust be some sort of action a consumer can take, could someone steer me in the right direction?
