cydia loading data crash

Hello,
I know this was an old issue but i have tried everything to fix
I had to restore my iPhone 3g to 3.0 - used redsnow to install cydia but all it does is load data then crash to springboard
I have tried removing sources - tried reinstalling cydia - tried fresh jailbreak - all with the same outcome - cannot use cydia at all

i can use idisk to view the root files but no ssh

can anyone help?

Restore to 3.1.3 and jb with redsn0w 0.9.4 (use 3.1.2 ipsw only for redsn0w, restore to 3.1.3).

It should be fine after. Don't restore from back up, set up as new.
