    Default Trying to down load the free cydia application on my iphone 3gs

    Hy guys very new to this site. Well guys what I would really like is for someone anyone please tall me how I can down load the cydia application on my iphone 3gs.. if anyone has any kind of knowledge as to how to do so. please give me a lead or a link. I would greatly apreciate your knoeledge... please

    You need to jailbreak your iPhone before installing Cydia. Update the iPhone to iOS 4.2.1 through iTunes and then download and run the program below. Once you have done that, then run the "Loader" app and select Cydia and it will install it for you. Welcome to MMi.

    Will this preserve the current baseband 5.14.02?
    I have allready 4.2.1 and jailbreak with snowbreeze 2.2,but did not install Cydia.
    How can i do it ?

    If you are already jailbroken DO NOT update yet! do you have openSSH installed by chance?

    No is not installed.
    I guess i need Cydia first in order to install SSH.

    Are you on Windows, or Mac?

    i think there is a way to install cydia, but it may not be easy.
