StatusNotifier app has me trapped =O

G'day guys.

I seem to be having a problem with the StatusNotifier app from cydia? Downloaded it today and it sent me straight into safe mode and crashing the springboard, so I uninstalled it via cydia but the icon still shows up on my springboard and keeps me in safe mode.

Any help would be appreciated and if there is a way to get rid of this without a restore you get 20 points

On an iPhone 4 running 4.2.1 btw if that helps at all.

I've tried uninstalling it, reinstalling it, deleting it, redownloading and installing and deleting it... nothing through cydia seems to effect it. :s
