Cydia crashing . Please helppppp !

Hi everyone! i had recently upgraded my 3GS from ios 3.0 to 3.1.3 by using sn0wbreeze v1.5 and use the restore function to retrieve all my data. But every time when i'm trying to enter cydia, it crashed before even entering the front page. At first i thought the problem came from those old data from my previous os and thus i did another restore and set the phone as a new one, but things are still the same way around, and i've been doin the restore process a couple times but the outcome were still the same. and since i cant get into cydia, i cant download unlock for my phone and unable to use it! Is it the problem of my phone, or perhaps i use the wrong jailbreak program to carry out the action ? should i use redsn0w or maybe some other program for the jailbreak process ? i really appreciated for any advice !!

my iPhone is a MC generation model with old bootrom and with firmware 05.12! once again i sincerely appreciated for any help ! thanks ! and sorry for the poor english

It is probably the cydia installed by that old version of sn0wbreeze is too old to work.

thxxx ! but i did reset the phone as a new one after the first attempt, and i thought its gonna be a different story that there wont be any connection with my previous data ???

try using redsn0w or even better pwnage tools

thx beranto !but my phone always stuck in black screen after a window pop out and said it had finished the jailbreak process on the computer.... i had no idea if i screw it up or wt ?

try another version of ultrasnow or cooking up a firware version with redsn0w. try it with a dfu restore
