Yesterday I opened cydia and under the changes tab it showed and essential upgrade. So like I always do I went ahead and tried to install it but this time it didn't work it gave me and error iPhone Firmware >= 4.0
I am assuming this means in order for the upgrade to work my phone needs to be on 4.0 or higher?
I am running 3.1.3 and open cydia at least twice per day so this update has to be pretty new. does this mean cydia isn't going to work properly on 3.1.3 devices now?
I have the same problem, it said that there was an essential update for cydia installer so I went to upgrade it and a message came up saying the requested modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed, depends- iPhone 4.0.
Does anyone no what this means and how I can fix it( if I need to)? Please help
