Help ASAP please, all packages in cydia have gone

I upgraded cydia this morning, all was fine up until now.
I resprung and now in safe mode and all my installed packages are gone?!
I did try to mod the status file in var/mobile/lib/dpkg to remove an update badge?
What can I do?

i got my packages back but now i cannot install nor remove anything from cydia.
I get an error message in picture below
How can i fix this?
Also i am trying to create a .deb file and i get the message in second pic?
Help please!!


I have tried re-installing Cydia
i deleted it, downloaded newest version from Sauriks site, when i try re-installing in Cydia i get:
/$ dpkg -i /cydia.deb
dpkg: failed to open package info file `/var/lib/dpkg/status' for reading: No such file or directory

The status file is there

Please someone help, ive been working on this for hours now!!!

im trying to remove cydia via terminal but when i get to the type the phrase 'yes, do as i say!' part it just says abort?
Please for the love of god someone help me!
