Default Ipod Touch 1g 3.1.3 cydia stuck at 'loading data'
    Hello,

Recently I have been trying to jailbreak my ipod and put cydia on it in order to download a few interesting apps.

I updated my ipod 1g to 3.1.3, used redsn0w 9.4 and browsed for 3.1.2 as was instructed on various sites all over the internet.

when I clicked on the cydia app, it loads up, but then it pops up with a CPG error and NODATA 2 - I can only click okay

after that, whenever I click on cydia, it stays at the loading data screen.

I have tried restoring my ipod and doing all this multiple times with no sucess - I have also tried blackra1n with the same results. please help! what am I do wrong?

iMister, I finally got the problem solved!!

Just SSH into your iPhone, navigate to the following folder:

    /private/var/lib/apt/lists

delete everything except the folder "partial" (You can move them to a folder in your PC/MAC just in case)

Restart Cydia and no more warning this time! Go to Changes and press Refresh and all the changes should be there again!

It at least works for me...do let me know if it works for you

I think we kinda got something corrupted and Cydia just doesn't know what to do.....

How do I ssh into my iPod touch though?
I do not understand ssh technology. Is there A walkthrough?

I cannot download the ssh app from cydia because I cannot access cydia.

Default Just jailbreak - no openSSH, MobileTerminal installed - Cydia data loading problem
Hi I just jailbroke my iPod Touch (1st gen) 3.12 today. And have the same problem like this.

I just install Cydia and cann't access it for the first time (i.e. crash after loading data). Therefore, I don't have any app installed in my ipod yet (OpenSSH, afc2add, MobileTerminal). I tried iFunBox in Windows but could not access the var folder.

It takes me almost two days and drive me crazy

Any suggestion to fix this problem ?

    Thanks

I have the same issue! Tried to install some software, and hosed my entire phone. Now, Cydia doesn't want to work. I've tried BlackRa1n and a new pwned restore...nothing has worked so far...I have a 2G iPhone, running 3.1.2...

I had to register to this forum to tell everyone the solution to this problem. Since I found lots of solutions to problems I faced in the past, I decided to do my part.

I had the same problem and did everything people told me to, but no luck.

The only way I was able to solve this problem was to restore the iTouch to Factory setting and re-jailbreak using the Jailbreakme.com

    Hope this solves the problem!!!
