Cydia open, 10 seconds later, CRASH

Well, the title basically sums it up, but here's more detail:

The problem with my iPod is: I just jailbroke my iPod Touch 1st Generation 8GB using Blackra1n, but I updated it from 1.1.5>3.1.2 then jailbroke. I install Cydia, respring, then open. 10 seconds (give or take a few seconds) later, it's in the "Loading Data" or whatever screen then it crashes. Tried it a bunch of times until I finally posted here. Any help is appreciated!

iPod Touch 1st Gen 8GB
Firmware: 3.1.2
Jailbreak Tool: Blackra1n
*For the record, Cydia never opened on this iPod, but worked on my 2nd Gen.

The cydia that blackra1n installs seems to be having issues lately. Try restoring and using jailbreakme.com or redsn0w 0.9.4 to jailbreak again.

Oh yeah, I forgot all about jailbreakme.com lol does it work with 3.1.2? (Well, might be updated to 3.1.3)

I believe it does work with 3.1.2 as well, but you ya you might as well go to 3.1.3.
