Firewall IP: How to Block Ads

There are surprisingly very little tutorials out there on how to use this app. I know people may just say block everything, but that would make some apps not work. I would like to know how to use Firewall IP to block only ads. For example, the ads at the bottom of Textfree.

That is a good question as I am trying to figure out the same thing.

So far everything I have allowed is from legit sites.

I had the same Q with PrivaCY. The "instructions" are ambiguous and I'm not certain what blocks the info being sent. On or off??? Hahaha

I typically just block anything with "ads" in the name of the URL. So far it's worked great on every app but Words With Friends. No matter what I do, words with friends won't work with Firewall IP installed.
