Thread: Help removing sources

    Default Help removing sources
Hi. I installed a few sources manually. They give me a failed to fetch error. I tried to find them and remove them but they don't show up in my sources. How do I get rid of them so I can remove the failed to fetch error. The source repo addresses show up in my rock app but not in my cydia. There's no way for me to remove them in rock only disable.

    Edit this file:

    /private/etc/apt/sources.list.d/cydia.list

Reboot the phone and try again. If you still get the cocoa error, you have bigger troubles than a bad entry in the repo source list.

I tried that like 4 times! still a cocoa error..... oh well my cydia works fine but the failed to fetch error annoys the hell out of me.....

is there a way for me to redo my phone without restoring my phone to 4.1.?

I have the 4.0.1 firmware downloaded

You could ssh the file onto your computer and edit it there, then ssh it back on to your iphone, but i havent tried this so i dont know if it will work

Have you tried Cyfix to get rid of the bad source(s)?
