Ill give it a look, but since its a 3rd Party you should email the developers of Music+ and tell them it would be a useful thing :P

Just plugging into my car stock stereo unit. Honda EX model non-nav head unit... Music+ just says "no track selected" and doesn't pass the selection through if I make one... It just blinks and does nothing. All 3rd party media controllers that do not just create playlists, but actually hook into apple's media player get locked out during accessory splash lockout... Weird that this tweak fixed that for u but not me..

Well I'm using a Dual Stereo I bought from Walmart
It might be something in the Honda System :/

I'm using a Dual head unit in a 97 Civic EX and it works fine.

And then found out wtf my iPod app is locked lol.. Took me some digging to find the original tweak in 4.x

I have an Alpine xda001 and while this works for the iPod.app I'm still locked out of Music+. Any ideas how to get around this?

Btw: there are 2 music+ apps. One is Music+ (CarTunes) Player by Ryan Oksenhorn (purple icon) the other one is Music+ — Music Player with Queue and Lyrics Finder by Fedry Kemilau (blue icon).

There are 2 types of alternative music players out there--ones that manipulate playlists and pass the playlist over to the iPod music app, and ones that directly control the iPod app. As far as I can tell, ALL the direct control apps do not work when docked, but the playlist kind work fine.

Music+ Cartunes (purple) is a direct controller. Blue is a playlist manipulator. I use purple. When it starts up while docked it just says "no track selected" and any attemp to select a track is just ignored--you can click artists and albums, but when u click the track to play it flashes but does nothing. This is not just in CarTunes, but the same on any direct playing apps..

It's as if calls into the iPod app are stopped/aborted when in docked mode. Your tweak allows for control from within the app, but calls requesting song info or selection from external
Apps seem to be blocked.

@hleibov - Just to clarify, its Music+ CarTunes that you are trying to use? that locks out? For arguments sake can you test out Music+ -- Music Player with Queue and Lyrics Finder, as thats the one i thought you meant, so i emailed that developer lol

I will give CarTunes a try once i grab an iTunes card and download it
