Default Blank icons with iBlank and SBSettings

Ok, so im having issues with getting rid of these blank icons. first i made them with iBlank to use the iNav theme, but decided i didnt like it. so i deleted them manually since iBlank wouldnt delete them. halfway through that process, i decided to hit 'fix blanks' in SBsettings because i thought it might delete them for me. instead it added another 4 pages of blanks. and when i manually delete them myself and respring, itll only create more blanks. iBlank wont delete them either. does anyone know the problem? all help is appreciated.

i cant seem to find them in the applications folder in SSH. where can i find the folder containing the default installed apps like video, etc?
besides, even if i deleted them that way, im sure it will only come back after a respring (although ive yet to try it.)

The Fix Blanks in SBS is simply for when you bring up the "Dock" in SBS. There are sometimes blanks there when you delete an app that was on that "Dock". It has nothing to do with the springboard

First, get iFile, available in Cydia. It is an absolute must for the Hardcore modder. Messing with strings and images is so stinkin' easy. Making per-page WP themes for Winterboard is a breeze. I highly recommend anyone get this app, and purchase it too, it really is worth it. (I am not affiliated with the dev or anything, just an extremely satisfied customer).

/Applications is where all the apps Weather, Calculator, etc are. A lot of JB apps install there, too.

    /var/mobile/Applications
is where the app store apps install. An easy way to see these apps is in iFile.

iBlank creates, you guessed it, blank webclips. These install to /var/mobile/Library/WebClips. What you are experiencing may be a permissions issue. It sounds a lot like permissions if they don't go away. Go to /var/mobile/Library and check the permissions of thefolder "WebClips". In iFile, this shows up as User: Read/Write/Execute, and Group and World are left blank. If it is different from that, then change it to what I provided. Also, slide on the "Apply hierarchically" box. In WinSCP, you can right-click over the folder, choose "properties" and there will be an area for permissions. You can actually just type in 0700 if you want. My WebClips delete just fine. This fix is so that in the future you don't have to do this again (hopefully).

You can also navigate to the WebClips folder and manually delete each clip that you don't want. Be careful, if you have bookmarks on your springboard, they are in this folder. If you delete those, too, then you will have to re-add them to your springboard. Be sure to respring when finished, if you manually delete WebClips.

    Hope this helps.
And it will be like a taco inside a taco within a Taco Bell that's inside a KFC that's within a mall that's inside your dream!

well, ive used winSCP to ssh into my touch and iBlank does have permissions set to 0700. manually deleting webclips; well im not sure if every single folder in there are blank icons. How would i figure out which one is a blank icon and which isnt?
also, you need to pay for iFile, which i dont have and there isnt a free version of it on cydia.

EDIT: just decided to risk and delete everything inside the webclips folder and it worked. those blank icons arent annoying me naymore.
    thanks for the help
